Help: What is CVV2? |
Also called CID
and CVS, the CVV2 is an authentication code
established by credit card companies to further
efforts towards reducing fraud for internet and mail
order transactions. Because the CVV2 code is not part
of the card number and does not show up on sales
receipts, providing the CVV2 verifies that you have
the card in hand.
How to locate the CVV2 code
on your card:

Visa, MasterCard
and Discover: |

This
number is printed on your Visa, MasterCard, and
Discover card in the signature area of the back of
the card in italics. (it is the last 3 digits
AFTER the credit card number in the signature area
of the card). |

American Express |

American Express cards show the CVV2 printed above
and to the right of the imprinted card number on
the front of the card. |

are unable to locate the CVV2 code on your credit
card, please contact your credit card company for
assistance |

Please have the date your car or
truck was purchased, total purchase price of the vehicle, amount
financed, annual percentage rate (Not to exceed 12.5 APR) name
and address of Lender, vehicle year, make, model.
